About me
Hi, I’m Ola Kowalska. For over a decade I’ve worked inside the language industry as a teacher, entrepreneur, and mentor to language professionals. During that time I’ve had a front-row seat to both the beauty of this field and the challenges it faces.
Language educators do deeply human work helping people connect across cultures, build confidence, and participate in conversations that shape their lives. Yet the industry often treats that work as something easily replaceable, underpaid, or secondary.
I created this collection because I believe we are at an important moment for the language world.
Technology is evolving, learning habits are changing, and more educators are questioning old assumptions about how languages should be taught, learned, and valued. Instead of trying to answer those questions alone, I wanted to bring together voices from across the industry: teachers, entrepreneurs and innovators who are thinking deeply about where we might be heading next.
This collection is the result. Eleven thoughtful perspectives exploring the future of language learning, teaching, and the role language plays in connecting humans.
